I use Twitter to stay informed with educational topics and other various topics around the world. I follow a plethora of teachers that offer wonderful suggestions and ideas to use in the classroom. I also follow professional journals such as the Alabama Department of Education, and Luasanne Learning. I have found that there are many great professional development opportunities using Twitter.
Twitter, in my opinion, is a wonderful tool to be familiar with. When using Twitter, it is easy to find many resources, links to blogs, and professional journals. These resources are helpful for ideas, keeping up with current trends in education, and news in education.
